How Our Fees Work

We believe in simple, upfront pricing — no hidden charges or surprises. Here’s a full breakdown of the fees for both sellers and buyers on EXsport Exchange.

🛍️ For Sellers ✅ Stripe Transaction Fee: 1.5% + 20p

When you sell an item, our secure payment provider (Stripe) charges a small transaction fee of 1.5% of the total sale price plus 20p. This is automatically deducted from the payment before it reaches you.

✅ What You Keep

You receive the full sale price and any shipping charges, minus the Stripe transaction fee. There's nothing else to deduct.

💡 Example: You sell an item for £17.50 with £5.00 postage. Stripe deducts around £0.56, so you receive £21.94.

🛒 For Buyers ✅ Buyer Service Fee: 7%

A 7% service fee is added at checkout to cover platform and payment costs. This ensures we can keep the site running smoothly and continue building a safe, trustworthy community.

💡 Example: You buy an item listed at £17.50, with £5.00 postage. A 7% service fee (£1.57) is added, making your total £24.07. You’ll see the full breakdown at checkout — no hidden costs, ever.

Addition of all sports

At EXsport Exchange we want to incorporate every sport into our site. at the moment we have it set up for nine sports + 'other'. We will monitor the 'other' section very closely to see what other sports are popular and will swiflty add them as their own section if they are highly popular e.g. Skiing.
